According to us bureau of transportation in 2004 there are 243,023,485 registered passenger vehicles in the US. Yes that's 243 MILLION vehicles registered here in the US as of 2004.

That's the Registered amount! no one knows the real number of vehicles but i wouldn't be able to imagine. So imagine this - If each vehicle is valued at only $5,000 then that means there is $1,215,000,000,000 worth of vehicles (not including unused and broken vehicles) being used and in transit today!
